I'm assuming everybody else is having problems with comments also? I will take this opportunity to procrastinate more while Mr. Hardin figures out what is wrong.

I figured it out: when you are composing a new post under the block where you type there is a "post options" button that looks like a hyperlink, you press that and select the "allow" choice under "reader comments"
