I'm not handing back the HOD essays until the start of the second semester. I should have them done by the end of the week (I'll keep you posted) but waiting accomplishes two things: 1. I can give more attention to the papers and comments and; 2. It doesn't affect your grade without the chance at revision. I don't know why I didn't think to wait before, except for wanting to clear my desk. This also keeps us on pace with Mr. Duncan's class, which is always a priority.

For those of you that are switching classes at semester (going to Mr. Duncan), the way it will probably work is, I'll grade the 1st final and he'll grade the revision. He and I will have to talk about that.

And don't think that I'm kidding myself that it is not a lightening of my work load - it's just one of the many perks, ha, ha.
