A coupla' items that came up today in class, but in separate periods:
1. No contractions: don't, couldn't, wouldn't, etc. OMIT.
2. Present tense! As Gunnar postulates, "Helmholtz is the man" and "Bernard hates the Controller" not was or hated.
3. I saw some 14+ point fonts out there. Keep it to 12.
4. You should be proving a thesis about the book, not about society.
It looks like there are many good drafts out there, but also many tired faces. You have another week - don't procrastinate!
